Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated Field Service Technician to join our sales team in Wangara, Western Australia. This permanent, full-time role is essential for ensuring customer satisfaction through the installation, maintenance, and repair of our products. The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic and eager to learn, contributing to our mission of delivering exceptional service and support to our clients.
Responsibilities:
- Install and configure equipment at customer sites according to specifications.
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Provide technical support and training to customers on product usage.
- Document service activities and maintain accurate records of work performed.
- Collaborate with the sales team to identify customer needs and provide solutions.
- Respond promptly to service requests and ensure timely resolution of issues.
- Diagnose, service, and repair mobility and rehabilitation equipment.
- Collaborate with clients, fellow technicians, and administrative staff to prioritise service tasks.
- Provide compassionate and professional support to our customers.
- Adhere to safety protocols, including wearing company uniforms and necessary PPE.
- Maintain your company vehicle, ensuring it is well-stocked with parts and supplies.
- Comply with all relevant Work Health & Safety regulations.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification is a plus.
- Entry-level experience in a technical or customer service role is preferred.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Willingness to travel to customer locations as required.
- Proven experience or familiarity with mechanical and/or electronic systems.
- Forklift license is a plus but not mandatory.
- Basic proficiency in MS Office; on-the-job training will be provided for our customized systems.
- Highly organized and motivated, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- A friendly demeanor with a genuine desire to assist clients.
- Ability to follow established procedures and instructions.
- Valid Western Australian Driver’s license with a clean driving history.
- Willingness to undergo National Police Check, Working With Children Check, and NDIS Worker Check.
