Additionally, EGHS operates and maintains its own café (Café Pyrenees) available to all staff, patients, visitors and the wider community. Duties involved for this position include:
- To provide and maintain a high-quality standard of cleanliness, hygienic and safe environment within all areas of the Health Service under the Victorian Health facilities cleaning standards
- Ensure that all patients, clients, visitors and staff are treated with respect, dignity and courtesy in an environment that is free from harassment and discrimination
- Work across the full spectrum of health care services and relate positively to a wide range of people
- Perform all delegated duties in a timely and efficient manner
- Maintaining an adequate standard of documentation for task completion
- Participate in the food service to patients and the removal of meal trays / food after completion
- Participate in the cleaning of patients / resident’s rooms and clinical areas
- Undertake all duties as described in the relevant work schedules
- Follow infectious control guidelines
This position will work in all areas of the Health Service and there will be provision for extra shifts to cover Annual Leave / Sick Leave.
