The opportunity
As we continue to enhance our warehousing and logistics network, we're seeking a proactive and results-driven Logistics Specialist to lead operational improvement initiatives across our supply chain on a 6-month contract. Working closely with cross-functional teams, you'll optimise warehouse operations, transport performance, inventory flow, and systems to deliver greater efficiency, lower costs, and an exceptional customer experience.
How You'll Make an Impact

Lead strategic logistics improvement initiatives across warehousing, transport, and inventory operations.
- Drive key projects including RF warehouse implementation, transport optimisation, warehouse layout improvements, predictive inventory flow, and pick-face replenishment
- Improve DIFOT performance and productivity
- Enhance inventory accuracy
- Reduce cost-to-serve through data-driven operational improvements.
- Lead operational and cultural change, ensuring successful adoption of new systems and processes.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Success in this role relies on building strong partnerships across the business and with external stakeholders. You'll work closely with:

IT & Data Analytics – Implement RF technology, optimise WMS functionality, and support data-driven decision making.
- Supply Chain & Production – Align warehouse and transport operations with production schedules, inventory flow, and demand planning.
- Sales & Customer Service – Enhance customer outcomes through improved delivery models, DIFOT, and OTIF performance.
- Finance – Support budgeting, cost tracking, and validation of savings delivered through improvement initiatives.
- Procurement & External Partners – Collaborate with carriers, 3PL providers, and suppliers to optimise transport and warehouse operations
You'll ideally bring

5+ years' experience in logistics, warehousing, or supply chain operations, with a strong focus on continuous improvement.
- Experience implementing WMS/RF technology and driving warehouse or transport optimisation projects.
- Strong knowledge of warehouse design, inventory management, slotting, replenishment, and transport planning.
- Proven ability to lead operational improvement initiatives and influence stakeholders across the business.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, and project management skills.
- A tertiary qualification in Logistics, Supply Chain, Engineering, Business, or a related discipline is preferred.
