As an Estimator, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality outcomes across insurance and construction projects, supporting Kinbuild Partners’ commitment to excellence, collaboration and trusted partnership.
You will be responsible for assessing property damage, preparing accurate scopes of work and cost estimates, and supporting efficient project delivery across a range of residential and commercial insurance claims. Working closely with clients, insurers, subcontractors and internal teams, you will help ensure projects are delivered with precision, professionalism and care.
You will also contribute to delivery outcomes that support long-term employment and industry participation across the construction sector.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct detailed property damage assessments across residential and commercial sites
- Prepare accurate scopes of work, cost estimates and causation reports
- Coordinate make-safe works and engage specialist trades where required
- Ensure all estimates comply with building codes, legislation and HSEQ standards
- Maintain clear, professional communication with clients, insurers and stakeholders
- Support efficient project progression by minimising variations through accurate documentation
- Maintain accurate records across internal systems and insurer platforms
About You
You bring relevant experience within construction and estimating, with a strong commitment to delivering accurate, high-quality outcomes. You will demonstrate:
- Trade qualification or tertiary qualification in construction, or equivalent industry experience
- Experience in estimating, insurance building or construction project delivery
- Strong understanding of construction methods, materials and compliance requirements
- Ability to prepare detailed scopes of work and interpret damage causation
- High attention to detail and strong communication skills
- A collaborative and professional approach to working with stakeholders
