About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Roofing Supervisor to join our growing team. Working across residential, commercial and industrial roofing projects throughout the Perth metro area, you'll play a key role in leading crews, coordinating projects, and ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently and to the highest standard.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong metal roofing knowledge who is looking to further their career with genuine progression into estimating, project management and operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct site inspections, roof assessments and check measures.
- Plan and allocate materials through accurate site measurements and job preparation.
- Coordinate roofing crews, subcontractors, suppliers and daily site activities.
- Monitor project schedules and resolve site issues before they impact timelines.
- Lead toolbox meetings and maintain clear communication across site teams.
- Ensure all work complies with Australian Standards and WHS requirements.
- Monitor workmanship and identify defects, coordinating rectification works where required.
- Review subcontractor and supplier performance.
- Conduct maintenance inspections and provide accurate reporting.
- Track site budgets and minimise material wastage.
- Liaise with builders, clients, suppliers and internal stakeholders.
- Provide regular progress updates to management.
- Assist on the tools when required.
- Support estimating and quoting activities as the role develops.
Requirements
Essential
- Minimum 5 years' roofing experience.
- Experience supervising roofing crews or subcontractors.
- Strong knowledge of residential, commercial and industrial metal roofing systems.
- Current Driver's Licence.
- White Card.
- Ability to read and interpret construction plans.
- Strong communication and leadership skills.
- Working at Heights certification.
- EWP Ticket.
