The Role
Join us as Theatre Administrator and play an important role in supporting the successful delivery for the opening and ongoing operations of CROWN LIVE, Melbourne’s newest proscenium arch Theatre and other Entertainment venues across Crown.
Reporting to the Senior Manager Entertainment Operations, you will provide administrative, operational and customer-facing support across the Theatre Operations and Ticketing teams. Working closely with internal stakeholders, ticketing partners, producers and promoters, you will help ensure events are delivered efficiently while supporting an exceptional experience for guests, visitors and production teams.
This varied role combines theatre administration, stakeholder coordination, event support and customer service, making it an excellent opportunity for an organised professional who thrives in a fast-paced entertainment environment.
In this role, you will:
Support theatre and ticketing operations to ensure the smooth delivery of productions, events and entertainment experiences.
Coordinate administrative activities, scheduling and operational support across the department.
Manage stage door administration, including access requirements for cast, crew, contractors and visitors.
Act as a key point of contact for customer enquiries and provide exceptional service and support.
Coordinate information and communications between internal teams and external stakeholders
Coordinate with theatre teams and Crown Finance to compile timely and accurate event settlement information
Assist with show packages, promotions and event-related initiatives across the business.
Support contractor compliance, record management and administrative processes.
Contribute to the smooth day-to-day operation of Crown's entertainment venues through proactive administrative support.
About You
You are a highly organised and customer-focused administrator who enjoys working in a dynamic and fast-moving environment. You thrive on managing multiple priorities, building relationships with a broad range of stakeholders and ensuring every detail is delivered with accuracy and professionalism.
A strong communicator with a passion for entertainment and events, you bring a proactive approach and enjoy being part of a team that delivers memorable experiences.
You will also bring:
Experience working in ticketing, box office operations, live entertainment, events or a similar customer-focused environment.
Strong organisational and time management skills with exceptional attention to detail.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to engage effectively with a wide range of stakeholders.
A professional, approachable and service-focused mindset.
The ability to manage competing priorities and adapt to changing operational requirements.
Experience coordinating across multiple departments, external partners and event stakeholders.
Sound knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, Outlook and Teams.
Experience working with ticketing systems and event administration processes will be highly regarded.
