Waiter – Full Time

Tide Café is seeking an experienced Waiter to join our front-of-house team in a permanent full-time position.
We are looking for someone with strong hospitality experience who can provide professional, efficient and friendly service in a busy café environment.
The Role
Working as part of our front-of-house team, your responsibilities will include:
* Greeting and seating customers
* Presenting menus and providing advice on food and beverage selections
* Taking food and beverage orders accurately
* Providing professional service
* Serving meals and beverages to customers
* Clearing and resetting tables
* Checking customer satisfaction throughout service
* Processing customer payments
* Communicating effectively with kitchen and front-of-house staff
* Responding to customer enquiries and special requests
* Providing information regarding menu items, ingredients and dietary requirements
* Maintaining cleanliness and presentation of dining and service areas
* Assisting with opening and closing procedures
* Supporting junior front-of-house employees when required
* Maintaining food safety, hygiene and workplace health and safety standards
About You
Skills and experience required:
* Previous experience as a waiter or in a similar food and beverage service position
* Strong customer service skills
* Good knowledge of food and beverage service
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* The ability to work efficiently in a busy hospitality environment
* Strong attention to detail
* A professional and reliable approach
* The ability to work effectively as part of a team
* Availability to work weekends and public holidays as required
Relevant hospitality qualifications and demonstrated experience in a busy café or restaurant environment will be highly regarded.
A flexible roster will apply across the café's operating hours, including weekends and public holidays.
