All Construction Engineering is a Wollongong-based company seeking a recently graduated Civil Engineer to join our team in delivering a civil upgrade package for a concrete batch plant in the Inner West of Sydney. This is a hands-on role covering the full technical and administrative delivery of the works, from planning and safety documentation through to quality assurance, cost control, and procurement on site. Reporting to the Project Manager, you'll be a key point of contact for coordinating day-to-day site activities and ensuring the project is delivered safely, on program, and to specification.
Key Responsibilities:
● Develop and maintain Safe Work Method Statements (SWMS).
● Complete Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs) for quality assurance.
● Prepare and manage Requests for Information (RFIs).
● Attend meetings and liaise with the client.
● Conduct regular site walks and inspections.
● Maintain daily site diaries.
● Track project costs against budget.
● Manage procurement of materials and subcontractors.
● Produce and update 2WLA weekly.
About You:
● Degree or diploma qualified in Civil/Structural Engineering (or equivalent trade/technical background).
● Experience on industrial, civil, or plant construction projects — concrete batch plant experience highly regarded.
● Strong understanding of SWMS, ITPs, and QA processes.
● Confident managing RFIs and liaising with design teams.
● Sound cost tracking and procurement experience.
● Strong communication skills and ability to work autonomously on site.
