Roster: 24-hour roster, including 8-hour inactive overnight shifts
About the Role
We are seeking compassionate, reliable, and experienced Disability Support Workers to join a new support team for a participant based in Colac, VIC.
The participant has support needs associated with mental health, autism, psychosocial disability, and cerebral palsy. We are looking for Support Workers who can provide consistent, person-centred support while promoting independence, dignity, safety, and community participation.
The role operates on a 24-hour roster, including 8 hours of inactive overnight support. Flexibility across day, evening, and overnight shifts is highly desirable.
About You
The ideal candidate will:
- Have experience supporting people with complex disability, autism, psychosocial disability, mental health, or physical disability
- Be confident providing person-centred and respectful support
- Have a good understanding of professional boundaries and maintaining participant dignity
- Be reliable, patient, calm, and able to respond appropriately to changing support needs
- Have strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Be comfortable working independently as well as part of a support team
- Be available to work across a 24-hour roster, including inactive overnight shifts
- Have English as their first language, as this is a specific participant requirement
- Ideally have experience supporting individuals with cerebral palsy and/or complex support needs
Essential Requirements
- NDIS Worker Screening Check
- Working with Children Check (WWCC), where applicable
- First Aid Certificate
- CPR Certificate
- Relevant Disability/Community Services qualification or equivalent experience
- Right to work in Australia
- Driver’s licence and reliable vehicle are highly desirable

Pay: $38.00 – $42.00 per hour
