About the role:
Latrobe Private Hospital is seeking an experienced Anaesthetic Registered Nurse to join our Perioperative Team on a permanent part-time basis. You will play a key role within a supportive team in ensuring high levels of patient care is provided.

Key Responsibilities:
-
Prepare patients for surgery, prepare anaesthesia equipment, assist in anaesthesia administration

Provide patient care and recovery and monitor vital signs post-op
-
Provide evidence-based care, ensuring patient and staff safety
-
Liaise with the multi-disciplinary team
-
Contribute to efficient theatre operations and positive patient flow outcomes
Essential Criteria:
-
Current unrestricted registration with AHPRA and Working with Children’s Check
-
Working rights within Australia
-
Minimum 2 years’ experience in Anaesthetics and Recovery
-
Ability to work efficiently under pressure and adapt to changing clinical demands
-
Confidence to liaise with and support VMOs
-
Commitment to patient safety, quality improvement and clinical excellence
-
Excellent communication, teamwork and time management skills
Desirable Criteria:
-
Postgraduate qualification in Perioperative Nursing or working towards completion
-
Knowledge of ACORN standards and guidelines

If you are successful in the role, you will receive a salary based on your years of relevant registered nursing experience against the current Healthscope and VICNMA/ANMF- VIC Nurse and Midwives' -Enterprise Agreement 2025, a salary ranging from $1,536.17 - $2,040.52 per week
