We're looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Casual Optical Dispenser / Optical Assistant to join our practice. If you enjoy helping people, have a passion for customer service, and thrive in a retail environment, we'd love to hear from you.
About the Role
As an Optical Dispenser / Optical Assistant, you'll play an important role in delivering an exceptional experience for every patient. Your responsibilities will include:
- Assisting patients in selecting frames and lenses that suit their needs, lifestyle, and budget.
- Providing outstanding customer service from the moment patients enter the practice.
- Adjusting, fitting, and repairing spectacles.
- Processing orders and liaising with lens laboratories.
- Booking appointments and assisting with reception duties.
- Maintaining an organised, clean, and welcoming practice.
- Working closely with our optometrists and team to ensure excellent patient care.
What We're Looking For

Optical dispensing experience is preferred but not essential. We welcome applications from candidates with strong retail or customer service backgrounds who are eager to learn, as training will be provided for the right person.
