About the role
As a Key Account Manager (Regional Retail), you’ll play a key role in driving growth across a portfolio of customers, wholesalers and buying groups, representing our trusted CopRice and Pryde’s brands.
This is a hands-on role where you’ll partner closely with customers to shape strategy, lead joint business planning and bring ideas to life in market. With a strong mix of commercial thinking and relationship building, you’ll work collaboratively to uncover opportunities, solve challenges and deliver shared success.
Key responsibilities will include:
Building and nurturing strong, long-term partnerships with key buyers, wholesalers and buying groups to drive mutually beneficial outcomes
Leading customer engagement end-to-end - from meeting preparation through to delivering impactful presentations and following through on actions
Developing and executing annual Joint Business Plans, with clear strategies to deliver sales, profit and market share growth
Turning data and insights into clear, compelling stories that identify opportunities and influence decisions
Owning forecasting, trade spend and overall commercial performance across your accounts
Monitoring performance and using insights to refine plans, optimise results and drive continuous improvement
Working collaboratively with Marketing, Finance, Category & Insights and Field Teams to deliver aligned, customer-centric plans
Applying a strong understanding of the supply chain to identify efficiencies and unlock growth opportunities
Thinking both strategically and creatively to deliver practical, results-driven solutions for customers and the business
About You
You’re a commercially minded relationship builder who enjoys working closely with customers to influence outcomes. You balance analytical rigour with creative thinking, and you’re confident navigating complex conversations backed by strong insight and preparation.
You will bring:
Proven experience managing key accounts, with a track record of delivering against sales, profit and growth targets
Strong commercial acumen and confidence working with numbers, including forecasting, trade spend and performance analysis
Experience presenting to customers, including leading range reviews, business updates and strategy discussions
Demonstrated success developing and delivering Joint Business Plans
Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build trust and influence across internal and external partners
Solid understanding of the regional retail channel and how to drive growth within it
A strategic and curious mindset, with the ability to identify opportunities and turn them into actionable plans
Strong communication and influencing skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment
