Centre Director – New Service Opening (Burwood)
Innovative Early Learning is looking for an experienced and passionate Centre Director to lead the launch of our brand-new service opening in Burwood.
This is an exciting opportunity for a strong leader who is passionate about early childhood education and ready to build a positive team culture from the ground up. The successful candidate will play a key role in setting up the service, supporting enrolments, building community relationships, and leading a high-performing team.
Expected commencement: August 2026
As a Centre Director, you will:
- Lead the successful opening and ongoing operation of our new Burwood service.
- Recruit, mentor, and support a team of educators and room leaders.
- Ensure compliance with the National Quality Framework (NQF), National Regulations, and service policies.
- Oversee educational programs and support continuous improvement across the service.
- Build strong relationships with children, families, staff, and the local community.
- Manage occupancy growth, family engagement, and enrolment enquiries.
- Monitor budgets, staffing, and day-to-day centre operations.
- Foster a positive, collaborative, and professional workplace culture.
- Lead the service through assessment and rating processes.
Requirements
- Diploma or Bachelor qualification in Early Childhood Education.
- Minimum 3 years' experience in a Centre Director or senior leadership role.
- Strong knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF), National Quality Standards (NQS), and relevant legislation.
- Proven leadership and team management experience.
- Strong communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills.
- Current Working with Children Check (NSW).
- Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma, and Anaphylaxis certificates.
- Current Child Protection training.
- Excellent understanding of childcare management systems and administrative processes.
Desirable
- Experience opening a new early learning service or managing centre growth.
- Familiarity with the OWNA platform and digital enrolment systems.
- Experience developing occupancy and community engagement strategies.
- Ability to mentor and develop future leaders within the service.

Pay: $100,000.00 – $120,000.00 per year
