Mac Container Services is a leading Brisbane-based provider of container logistics, warehousing and distribution solutions. We deliver end-to-end container handling, storage, staging and distribution services for clients across a diverse range of industries. Our operations include container unloading and loading, restacking, warehouse support and the management of palletised, non-palletised, slip-sheet and clamp loads.
As our business continues to grow, we are seeking an experienced and driven Supply and Distribution Manager to lead and coordinate our supply chain, warehousing and distribution operations.
The Opportunity
Reporting directly to the Owner/Director, you will play a key leadership role in ensuring the efficient movement, storage and distribution of goods throughout our facility. You will oversee daily operational activities, manage staff and resources, optimise inventory and distribution processes, and ensure exceptional service delivery for our clients.

Key Responsibilities
· Plan, organise and coordinate daily container unloading, loading, restacking, staging and warehouse support operations.
· Develop, implement and monitor supply, storage and distribution strategies, policies and operational plans.
· Ensure inventory levels are maintained efficiently while minimising storage and operational costs.
· Coordinate the movement and handling of palletised, non-palletised, slip-sheet and clamp loads.
· Manage labour requirements, workforce scheduling, crew allocations and operational resources.
· Lead and supervise operational teams, including team leaders, warehouse staff and forklift operators.
· Monitor productivity, performance targets and client service standards.
· Negotiate with suppliers and service providers to achieve cost-effective outcomes.
· Oversee inventory control systems and operational tracking processes.
· Maintain accurate records of supply, storage and distribution activities.
· Liaise with clients, transport providers and internal stakeholders regarding scheduling and operational requirements.
· Ensure products and services are delivered in accordance with customer expectations, quality standards and agreed timeframes.
· Monitor compliance with workplace health and safety requirements and drive a strong safety culture.
· Assist with operational budgeting, cost control and financial reporting.
· Provide regular operational performance reports and recommendations to the Owner/Director.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
· A Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or a related discipline; or
· At least 5 years' relevant experience in logistics, warehousing, supply chain or distribution management.
· Demonstrated experience managing supply, storage and distribution operations within a warehousing, container logistics or similar environment.
· Strong leadership experience managing operational teams and coordinating multiple work crews.
· Experience using inventory management and operational tracking systems.
· Sound understanding of workplace health and safety requirements within logistics and warehousing environments.
· Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
· Strong analytical, organisational and problem-solving abilities.
· A proactive approach to continuous improvement, efficiency and cost control.
· The ability to manage competing priorities and meet operational deadlines.
· A current Forklift Licence (desirable but not essential).

Pay: $100,000.00 – $147,000.00 per year
