The Role
We are seeking a dedicated and adaptable Physical Education Teacher. The successful applicant will ideally exhibit the ability to work independently across a variety of school settings and possess strong interpersonal skills. A flexible approach to the school day and a willingness to engage in a dynamic and diverse environment would be ideal.
Leinster CS is well-regarded within the community for its strong and positive reputation. Our teachers work collaboratively, using the Western Australian Curriculum, Early Years and Primary Learning Frameworks, and ICT to design learning environments that are differentiated, engaging, supportive, and creative. These environments should cater to the diverse needs of all students. All teaching and learning programs must uphold dignity and respect for every learner, with a strong emphasis on Classroom Management Strategies (CMS) and values-based education.
The successful applicant should actively support the implementation of the school’s Business Plan, contribute effectively within a team-teaching environment, and be commitment to whole-school approaches and initiatives. An evidence-based teaching approach is ideal. The learning environment created should be inclusive, challenging, nurturing, and imaginative, ensuring that every student is supported to achieve and make meaningful progress.

Teachers and School Administrators employed at Leinster Community School in 2026 are eligible to receive a temporary Attraction and Retention Incentive of $4 000 (pa, gross – to be adjusted pro rata for FTE and tenure). Eligible staff will receive a percentage of this payment on commencement at the school, with the remainder paid at the end of the school year. Staff must remain employed in the location until the end of the school year to be eligible to receive the second payment.
The temporary ARI payment is in addition to other incentives that may apply in this school.
