Experienced Chef – ROKA Cammeray
ROKA Cammeray is looking for an experienced Chef to join and grow with our kitchen team.
We are a busy café and restaurant serving Mediterranean-inspired food, with all-day dining and dinner service.
As our business continues to grow, we are looking for someone experienced, reliable and confident in a busy kitchen environment who can support the team and take on more responsibility when required.
About the role:
- Preparing and cooking high-quality Mediterranean-style dishes
- Working across all-day dining and dinner service
- Supporting the kitchen team during busy service
- Maintaining consistency in food quality and presentation
- Assisting with prep, stock rotation and kitchen organisation
- Maintaining high food safety and cleanliness standards
- Helping the team keep the kitchen running smoothly and efficiently
- Taking a leadership role when required
What we are looking for:
- Previous experience as a Chef in a busy café or restaurant
- Strong organisation and time management
- Reliable, punctual and professional
- Ability to work well as part of a team
- Confidence working under pressure during busy service
- Good understanding of food safety and kitchen procedures
- Mediterranean cuisine experience is highly regarded
- Someone looking for a stable, long-term position
