The Role
Wellard PS is ideally seeking an enthusiastic and organised School Officer to join our supportive corporate services team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys being part of a people-focused school environment and wants to make a positive contribution to the effective operation of a growing school.
As part of a larger administration team, the successful applicant will work alongside dedicated colleagues to support students, families, staff and the broader school community. The role offers variety across financial, administrative and operational areas, which may include supporting school records and databases, assisting with assets and stocktake processes, and contributing to the smooth coordination of day-to-day school operations.
We are ideally looking for someone who communicates well, works positively with others, maintains confidentiality and takes pride in providing accurate, timely and helpful support. The ability to build effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders would be important, as is a willingness to learn and contribute to a team-oriented culture.
Professional learning and on-the-job support may be available to help the successful applicant develop skills in areas such as Human Resources, Finance and broader school operations. Experience working across recordkeeping, stocktake processes, and Compass would be highly regarded.
