Join YMCA South Australia as an OSHC Educator at our OSHCs located in the Victor Harbor Region today!
YMCA SA's Outside School Hours Care (OSHC) services provide safe, supportive and engaging environments for children aged 5–12 before and after school and during school holidays. Our programs are designed to support children's social, emotional and physical development through inclusive play-based learning and structured activities. We’re looking for enthusiastic, energetic and proactive individuals who are passionate about working with children and keen to actively engage with them in meaningful ways.

Key responsibilities:
Deliver safe, engaging and developmentally appropriate programs for children aged 5–12
Support children’s social, emotional and physical wellbeing through inclusive and fun activities
Create a welcoming environment that builds trust with children, families and schools
Actively supervise and support children, ensuring safety and wellbeing at all times
Collaborate with your team and service director to plan, evaluate and improve programs
Maintain accurate records and uphold regulatory, safety and safeguarding standard
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
Successful candidates will also have, or be willing to obtain/complete:
Certificate of completion for “Responding to Risks of Harm, Abuse and Neglect – Education and Care” Masterclass Training
HLTAID012 Provide First Aid in Education and Care
HLTAID009 CPR
Food Handling Training
ACECQA approved Qualification - Cert III/IV, Diploma or higher-level qualification (Qualified educators only)
Sound knowledge of OSHC Quality Assurance and recognised School Age Care Framework
