About the Role
We are seeking a reliable and mechanically minded Factory Hand / Delivery Driver to join our growing team. This is a hands-on role that combines factory and production duties with local truck driving and delivery responsibilities.
The successful candidate will enjoy a varied workday, working within our manufacturing facility while also assisting with the safe and efficient delivery of products to our customers.
Key Responsibilities
Factory Duties
- Assisting with the manufacture, assembly and preparation of products.
- Operating factory equipment and machinery safely.
- Performing basic maintenance and troubleshooting on equipment.
- Loading and unloading materials and finished products.
- Maintaining a clean, organised and safe work environment.
- Assisting with stock control and inventory management.
- Following quality control procedures and workplace safety requirements.
Delivery Duties
- Conducting local and regional deliveries as required.
- Loading, securing and unloading products safely.
- Completing delivery documentation accurately.
- Performing daily vehicle inspections and basic maintenance checks.
- Providing professional and courteous customer service during deliveries.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Strong mechanical aptitude and practical problem-solving skills.
- Experience working with tools, machinery or mechanical equipment.
- A strong work ethic and positive attitude.
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good physical fitness and ability to undertake manual handling tasks.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to safety.
- Good communication skills and customer service focus.
Essential Requirements
- Current Driver's Licence.
- MR Licence.
- Forklift Licence (desirable but not essential).
- Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug and alcohol screening.
- Full Australian working rights.
