About the role
Ready to take the next step in your sales career? Join our Commercial Sales team as an Account Representative in this phone-based sales role, supporting Builders, Trade and Organisations customers across New Zealand.
With opportunities available in Auckland, Rotorua and Christchurch, you'll manage an established portfolio, build strong customer relationships and identify new opportunities to grow sales across your region. Working closely with our wider Commercial and Store teams, you'll deliver outstanding service, provide practical solutions and help customers achieve their goals.

What's involved
Build strong relationships with Builders, Trade and Organisations customers through regular phone and digital engagement
Manage and grow an established portfolio while delivering an exceptional customer experience
Identify opportunities to strengthen existing relationships and generate new business
Understand customer needs and provide practical solutions that support their business
Work closely with Store and Commercial teams to maximise opportunities and deliver positive customer outcomes
Manage customer enquiries, quotations and follow-up activities in a timely and accurate manner
Maintain accurate customer information and sales activity within CRM systems
Provide sales updates and forecasts to support business planning and performance
Contribute to sales growth while delivering against key performance measures

You're someone who enjoys building genuine relationships and creating value for customers through great service and consistent support. You take a proactive approach, communicate confidently and enjoy working towards shared goals as part of a team.

What You'll Need
Experience in sales, account management or customer service
Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships
Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
Experience using CRM systems and managing customer information
Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
The ability to identify customer needs and provide practical solutions
A proactive and results-focused approach
A commitment to teamwork, integrity and delivering great customer outcomes
