Permanent Opportunity
Reporting to the Head of Enterprise Platforms Delivery, the Applied AI Governance and Adoption Lead will establish and lead Greenstone's Applied AI Governance model. You will also provide a structured pathway for AI use case intake, assessment, approval, control design, implementation support and ongoing monitoring whilst ensuring that AI initiatives are aligned to Greenstone's technology strategy, cyber security standards, risk appetite, legal obligations, privacy requirements and business value expectations.
Additionally, you will support the safe adoption of AI-enabled operational capabilities, including AIOps, automation, knowledge management, employee productivity tooling and technology service improvement initiatives.
What are we looking for?
- 7+ years of experience in technology governance, risk management, cyber security, technology delivery, enterprise architecture, service management, digital transformation or related fields
- Demonstrated experience developing or operating governance frameworks, control models, risk assessments, decision records or assurance processes
- Strong understanding of artificial intelligence use cases, including generative AI, automation, productivity tooling, AI-enabled platforms and operational AI capabilities
- Experience working across Technology, Risk, Legal, Privacy, Procurement, Cyber Security and business teams to assess and implement technology initiatives
- Strong understanding of data protection, information security, access controls, third-party risk, regulatory expectations and operational risk in a technology environment
- Ability to assess AI use cases based on business value, risk, data usage, control requirements, operational impact and implementation complexity
- Experience supporting technology change, including stakeholder engagement, governance forums, delivery tracking, risk management and executive reporting
- Strong written communication skills, with the ability to produce clear governance artefacts, options papers, decision records, executive summaries and status reporting
- Ability to translate complex AI, technology and risk topics into practical guidance for business and technology stakeholders
- Strong stakeholder management skills, including the ability to influence without direct authority and align teams around clear outcomes
Desirable:
- Experience in financial services, insurance or another regulated industry
- Experience with AI governance, responsible AI, model risk management, data governance or privacy impact assessments
- Familiarity with recognised AI risk and governance frameworks, including the NIST AI Risk Management Framework, ISO/IEC 42001 or similar
- Experience with Microsoft Copilot, Azure AI, OpenAI, AWS AI services, ServiceNow AI, observability platforms or enterprise automation tools
- Experience with AIOps, SRE practices, incident management, service management, alert correlation, automation or operational analytics
- Understanding of cloud platforms, identity and access management, cyber security controls, API security and data classification
- Experience supporting technology vendor assessments, contract reviews, software evaluations or third-party risk assessments
- Relevant qualifications in technology, risk management, cyber security, data governance, project management, business or law
