As part of the CMV Group, we are accredited Kenworth and DAF dealers, supporting sales, service and parts plus PacLease Rental and Leasing. In addition to the Kenworth and DAF brands, we are also all makes capable and full service dealers for the extensive range of PACCAR, Cummins and CAT truck engines, as well as Dana, Meritor, Eaton, Wabco, Knorr-Bremse and SAF-Holland commercial vehicle technologies.
This exciting and rare opportunity for an exceptional Manager to lead, support and strategically oversee the daily operations of our Service Departments at Hallam Truck Centre.
A key success factor for this position is the ability to lead and engage strong service teams across multiple departments to ensure that our people are highly engaged and have the resources and support required.
The Service Manager will build solid partnerships with customers and all in-house departments. This is a role where leadership, customer excellence and operational efficiency, all blend together under multiple departments.

You will be responsible for
Service Management
- Manage and lead a team of workshop staff in all facets of the day-to-day operations of the service department
- Driving quality effective processes and ensuring manufacturer quality standards are adhered to in the maintenance and repair of all vehicles
- Regularly reviewing and analyzing the utilization of capacity of the service department
- Liaise and work with the invoicing team to ensure the prompt invoicing of all completed jobs in the service department
- Develop and maintain manufacturer relationships
- Ensuring the team deliver constant and honest communication with customers on the status of their repairs
- Conduct regular toolbox meetings
- Actively participate in the OH&S Committee and proactively support safety initiatives throughout the dealership.
Leadership
- Providing direction and support to the service department to achieve objectives and targets
- Coordinating ongoing training, development and product knowledge for all service personnel
- Promoting the managerial responsibility of reporting supervisors and conduct individual performance reviews
- Regularly reviewing operational and financial targets and results and implement appropriate corrective actions
- Work Closely with the Hallam Truck Centre Management Team to support and promote dealership objectives and KPIs.
- Uphold and proactively promote the CMV Group culture and values ensuring they guide all activities and direction of the business.
