What's the role?
We are seeking an
MRI Radiographer to join our
Redcliffe team on a
permanent full-time basis.
This opportunity is ideal for a qualified Radiographer with MRI experience who is looking to further develop their skills in a busy, supportive, and technologically advanced environment. Multi-modality experience in CT and general X-ray will be highly regarded.
Working within a collaborative multidisciplinary team, you will perform a broad range of MRI examinations while delivering exceptional patient care and contributing to outstanding clinical outcomes.
Key responsibilities include:
- Performing a wide range of MRI examinations, including musculoskeletal, neuro, and body imaging
- Maintaining the highest standards of MRI safety, image quality, and patient care
- Managing workflow efficiently while working both independently and collaboratively
- Working across Philips and GE MRI platforms, with opportunities for cross-vendor training
- Collaborating with radiologists, nursing staff, and clinical assistants to optimise patient outcomes
- Contributing to continuous improvement and a positive team culture

What's it like working in Redcliffe?
Qscan Redcliffe is a busy, well-established clinic located in one of South East Queensland's most desirable coastal regions. Just north of Brisbane, Redcliffe offers the perfect balance of professional opportunity and relaxed seaside living.
You'll work with a diverse outpatient caseload, including GP and specialist referrals across musculoskeletal, neurological, and general MRI. Our MRI department features both a Philips 3T Ingenia (R11) and a GE 1.5T Artist Evo, providing valuable exposure to multi-vendor systems and excellent opportunities for professional growth.
Our team is exceptionally well supported, with onsite nursing staff, dedicated clinical assistants, experienced radiographers, clerical support, and regional leadership. Standardised MRI protocols and centralised planning resources help ensure consistency, efficiency, and support for both routine and complex studies.
Flexible shift patterns of 6:00am to 2:00pm and 11:00am to 7:00pm offer attractive shift loadings and genuine work-life balance.
Is this role right for you?
To be successful, you will bring:
- Relevant qualifications in Medical Imaging
- Current AHPRA registration and Radiation Use Licence
- MRI experience, with 1 to 2 years highly desirable
- Experience on Philips 3T and/or GE MRI platforms highly regarded
- Strong understanding of MRI safety principles and scanning protocols
- Experience across a range of MRI examinations, including MSK, neuro, and body imaging
- Multi-modality experience in CT and/or general X-ray highly desirable
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Reliability, adaptability, and flexibility to work early and late shifts
