About the Role
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurses (RN) and Enrolled Nurses (EN) to join our multidisciplinary team on a casual basis. This flexible role involves providing nursing care and clinical support to NDIS participants within their homes and the community.
You will work collaboratively with participants, families, support workers, and allied health professionals to deliver safe, high-quality, person-centred care.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality nursing care to NDIS participants in accordance with individual care plans.
- Conduct health assessments and monitor participants' clinical needs.
- Administer medications and perform nursing procedures within your scope of practice.
- Develop and maintain accurate clinical documentation and progress notes.
- Educate participants, families, and support staff on health-related matters.
- Collaborate with allied health professionals and support coordinators to achieve participant goals.
- Maintain compliance with NDIS Practice Standards, AHPRA requirements, and organisational policies.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and maintain professional standards.
Essential Requirements
- Current registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse (RN) or Enrolled Nurse (EN).
- Current Australian Driver Licence and access to a reliable vehicle.
- Current NDIS Worker Screening Check.
- Current Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain).
- Current First Aid and CPR certification.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Strong clinical assessment and documentation skills.
Desirable
- Experience working within the NDIS, disability, aged care, or community health sectors.
- Knowledge of person-centred care and positive behaviour support principles.
- Experience with electronic clinical records or client management systems.
- Medication endorsement (for Enrolled Nurses, where applicable).
