About the Role
The Child and Adolescent Health Service (CAHS) is seeking a Research Administration & Events Officer to join our team and help support and coordinate activities including grants, education, research facilitation, and biostatistics.
Reporting to the Manager Research Support and Development, you help foster strong and engaged research culture across CAHS by coordinating our Research Education Program. This includes coordinating seminars, engaging stakeholders and facilitating access to education resources via intranet and external websites and supporting events that connect researchers, clinicians, and the wider community.
You will also contribute to the development and maintenance of research communication platforms, including websites, digital content, and promotional materials, helping to ensure research activities are accessible, well-presented, and compliant with organisational standards.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Providing high level, confidential administrative support to the Manager(s) and staff of the Research Support and Development Unit including grants, surveys, research development and education.
- Compiling and assist with reports, prepare correspondence, submissions, statistical summaries, data sets, and other materials as required.
- Coordinating Research Support and Development Unit activities including coordinate meetings, take and prepare minutes, and manage correspondence including triaging of phone and email queries pertaining to research support, responding to generic queries and directing complex requests to the relevant areas/staff.
- Editing and preparing of educational videos and podcasts for online distribution.
- Coordinating the design, development, maintenance and administration of the Research Department website
