Kareena Private Hospital is a dynamic acute care 142 bed facility.
Kareena caters for a full range of specialties including cardiology, orthopaedics, general surgery, colorectal surgery, obstetrics and gynaecology, general medicine, geriatric medicine, rehabilitation, gastroenterology, plastic surgery, ear, nose and throat surgery, urology, ophthalmology, paediatrics, respiratory medicine and vascular surgery. Radiology and pathology services are also available on site.
Job Description

As Pharmacist Manager, you’ll lead a dedicated team delivering high-quality pharmacy services within a supportive and collaborative environment. This is a full-time position, on a 6-month fixed term contract.
About the role
As Pharmacist Manager, you will oversee daily pharmacy operations and lead a passionate team committed to delivering exceptional care to patients and customers.
Key responsibilities include:

Leading pharmacy operations, professional services and medication supply

Providing leadership, mentoring and support to pharmacy team members

Coordinating onboarding and training for new staff

Maintaining compliance with legislative and medication safety standards

Fostering a positive and collaborative team culture
About you
To succeed in this role, you will bring:

Bachelor of Pharmacy or equivalent qualification

Current AHPRA Pharmacist Registration

Strong leadership and team management capability
-
High level of computer literacy and dispensing software knowledge
-
Previous community pharmacy experience highly regarded, but not essential
