Your new role:
As a Scanning Unit Administration Officer, you will play an important role in supporting patient care by ensuring medical documentation is accurately prepared, scanned and validated within Metro South Health's electronic medical record systems. You will:
Prepare, scan and process patient documentation using approved electronic medical record systems, including Cerner and Kofax.
Perform quality assurance checks and audits to ensure accuracy, compliance and data integrity.
Support efficient workflows to meet service delivery timeframes and contribute to positive patient outcomes.
Collaborate with team members across the department and provide support across a range of administrative functions as service needs evolve.

Demonstrated attention to detail with a strong commitment to accuracy, accountability and maintaining data integrity.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively within diverse teams.
Experience using administrative systems, Microsoft Office and data management tools; exposure to hospital information systems is highly regarded.
Adaptability, customer-focus and committment to providing responsive, professional and patient-centred administrative services.

The Department is responsible for the provision of management and financial accounting services, business performance and analysis as well as Private Practice and Revenue functions.
