Pacific Meat Sales is a family-owned business operating for over 25 years. Specializing in high-quality meat sales to a domestic and export market. Our focus is on Pork, Beef, and Veal, which are supplied through 5 different brands.
Located at our Thomastown site, we are seeking experienced maintenance fitters to join our Maintenance team. We are looking for candidates who are responsible, eager and are seeking a new opportunity on a full time basis. You will be available for site call outs when required, disassembling, repairing and reassembling machines, fault finding, writing reports and Inspections.
The Role
- Preventative maintenance of machines on site
- Repairing and fault finding on machines
- Respond efficiently to breakdown conditions so as to minimise
equipment downtime
- Maintain records of preventative maintenance tasks completed and
report any variations vs. plan
- Availability for site callouts when required
- Improve machine efficiency
- Completion of daily line set-ups according to schedule and standard set-up procedures.
YOUR PROFILE
- Mechanical Trade qualification
- Meat industry experience preferred however not essential
- Experience in TIG Welding preferred but not essential
- Current Forklift Licence and/or Elevated Work Platform Licence desirable
- Must be physically fit
- Good understand and compliance of OHS in the workplace
- Ability to use power and hand tools
