Full-Time Chefs Required

Located in Essendon, Demazzi is currently seeking a qualified Part Time/Casual Chef to join our friendly team.
We are looking for experienced and dedicated Chef who is committed to exceeding our customers' expectations whilst leading a professional and hardworking team. The eligible candidates will be performing the following duties:
· Prepare all dishes to our high standard consistently.
· Controlling and directing food preparation process and any other kitchen related duties.
· Monitor and record of inventory and if necessary, order supplies.
· Ensure OH&S and food hygiene requirements are met.
· Work unsupervised and in a team while maintaining a secure and friendly working environment.
· Assist in overseeing kitchen operations, ordering and stock control.
To be considered for this role you will need to possess the following:
· Advanced understanding and appreciation of all aspects of food and its service
· 2 + years of proven kitchen experience in a fast paced, high-volume environment
· Qualifications in commercial cookery- Cert IV or higher
· Flexible availability
· Strong leadership, motivational and people skills
· Effective communication skills
· Overall knowledge of operations, ordering, stock control and working to budgets
