The Mansion Hotel and Spa is seeking a dynamic and passionate Banquets Manager who can lead a team of conference and events staff to deliver exceptional guest service. About the role:
The Banquets Manager must be available to work over a 7 day roster, particularly nights and weekends, and is responsible for:

Managing the Conference & Events teams including recruitment and training of staff in C & E service

Preparing rosters in accordance with budgets

Supervising and coordinating shifts

Ensuring superior food and beverage service is provided to all guests

Overseeing the operational efficiency of the conference and events service operations

Maximising revenue opportunities and maintaining cost controls across our Conference and Events Operations
About you:
The successful candidate will have:

Exemplary food & beverage knowledge skills

Experience in managing a team in conference and event food & beverage service

Availability to work a spread of shifts over a 7 day roster

A strong guest focus with excellent communication and customer service skills

Energetic and driven, able to motivate and lead a team to achieve desired outcomes

Flexible and reliable with a CAN-DO attitude

Hands on! Lead by example and have your finger on the pulse.

Able to see the 'bigger picture' whilst attending to day to day needs of the department/hotel.

Have a strong sense of urgency to get things done quickly and works well under pressure

A current RSA for Victoria
