Kardex Remstar We are seeking a highly motivated Field Service Sales Representative to drive the Life Cycle Service (LCS) sale of maintenance and service contracts, spare parts, repair services, relocation services, as well as product updates and upgrades. The position is also to identify and acquire new customers. It develops new customer contacts and expands existing relationships within a defined geographic area, industry, product segment, or sales channel.
This full time position is to be based in Sydney and shall report to the Director Life Cycle Services Australia and New Zealand.
Your tasks
Responsibilities

Lead Generation:

Find and qualify new prospects through cold calling, networking, and referrals.

Client Consultations:
-
Visit and get close to customers and engage.

Assess client needs to recommend appropriate spare part/service contract packages, maintenance agreements, relocation or upgrades.

Marketing & Communications:
-
Collaborate with Marketing Dept to drive local promotion and introduction/launching of LCS service portfolio externally and internally.

Communicate regularly on proactive basis to Customers and Sales Managers regarding service products and service sales.

Sales Execution:
-
Respond to RFPs, prepare proposals/quotations, negotiate contract terms, and close deals to meet monthly or quarterly revenue targets.

Support Sales Team in sales of contracts to new systems according to set targets (>85% contracts for new units).

Increase percentage of contracts on existing units, achieve Global target of >66% contract coverage.

Account Retention:

Build long-term relationships with existing clients to encourage contract renewals and secure repeat business.

Issue Resolution:

Partner with Life Cycle Service Team to address client complaints and ensure high satisfaction.

Internal Guidance:
-
Support R&D in development of retrofits and upgrades

Guide of local responsible Technicians to support service sales growth and increase leads.

Manage Lead Program for Technicians.

Distribute information about new LCS products, retrofits, end of life products, to Technicians.

Support in people development to improve customer interaction.

Reporting:

Log all client interactions, leads, and sales activities accurately using CRM.

Set and accept targets and report status on a set schedule to Local Service Director, weekly/monthly basis.

Create monthly Lead status reports to technicians and LCS Director.
Requirements

Diploma in Business, Marketing Engineering, Logistics, or a related field.

3-5 years of proven experience in sales, account management, or customer service, preferably in intralogistics or warehouse automation industries.

Good understanding of WMS (Warehouse Management Systems), WCS (Warehouse Control Systems), robotics, and automation technologies will be advantageous.

Ability to analyse operational data and translate it into business insights.

Strong communication and presentation skills for client interactions.

Proficiency in CRM software and standard MS Office program.
