We are seeking compassionate and reliable Support Workers to support clients across Melbourne, including Eastern Melbourne, South East Melbourne and the Mornington Peninsula.
Current service areas may include Kew, Hawthorn, Camberwell, Dandenong and surrounding suburbs. Applicants must be willing to travel between client locations based on rostered shifts.
About the Role
This role involves providing person-centred support in line with each client’s care needs. Domestic assistance is a key priority for this role, along with general daily living support and community access where required.
Duties may include:
- Providing domestic assistance, including cleaning, laundry and household tasks
- Supporting clients with meal preparation
- Assisting with personal care and daily living activities where required
- Supporting clients with community access, appointments and social participation
- Providing companionship and respectful social support
- Following care plans and reporting any changes or concerns
- Supporting safe mobility and transport where required
Current Service Schedule
We are currently seeking applicants with weekday availability between 9:00am and 5:00pm, with services generally required across the following days:
- Monday: 6 hours
- Tuesday: 4 hours
- Wednesday: 6 hours
- Thursday: 4 hours
- Friday: 4 hours
Availability may vary depending on client needs and confirmed roster requirements.
Requirements
- Certificate III in Individual Support, Aged Care, Disability, or equivalent, preferred
- Current First Aid Certificate
- Current CPR Certificate
- NDIS Worker Screening Check
- NDIS Worker Orientation Module Certificate
- National Police Check
- Working With Children Check
- Valid driver’s licence
- Reliable, insured vehicle
- Experience in aged care, disability support, or community services, preferred
- Strong reliability, communication skills and a caring approach
