APPRENTICE BUTCHER – 1ST OR 2ND YEAR

Meys Meats is looking for a 1st or 2nd Year Apprentice Butcher to join our growing team.
We’re a busy, fast-paced butcher shop and are looking for someone who wants to build a career in the meat industry, learn the trade properly and become part of a strong team.
About the role:
- Full-time position
- Immediate start available
- Hands-on training across all aspects of the butchery trade
- Learn meat preparation, cutting, trimming and portioning
- Making value-added products and preparing customer orders
- Working as part of a busy production and retail team
- Opportunity to develop your skills as the business continues to grow
We’re looking for someone who:
- Is currently a 1st or 2nd Year Apprentice Butcher, or is keen to begin their apprenticeship
- Has a strong work ethic and is reliable
- Is willing to learn and take direction
- Enjoys working in a fast-paced environment
- Takes pride in their work
- Works well as part of a team
- Has a genuine interest in becoming a qualified butcher

Pay: $30,000.00 – $40,000.00 per year
