About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable SIL Operations Coordinator / Support Worker to join our growing team in Clyde North, Victoria. This role is ideal for someone passionate about supporting people with disabilities while also assisting with the day-to-day coordination of Supported Independent Living (SIL) services.
You will play an important role in delivering high-quality support and ensuring smooth operations for participants and support staff.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide person-centred support to NDIS participants.
- Assist participants with daily living activities and community access.
- Coordinate and monitor SIL operations and shift requirements.
- Maintain accurate shift notes and documentation.
- Communicate effectively with participants, families, and support workers.
- Ensure compliance with NDIS standards and company policies.
- Support rostering and operational tasks when required.
- Promote participant independence, dignity, and wellbeing.
Essential Requirements
- NDIS Worker Screening Check
- Working With Children Check (WWCC)
- Current First Aid and CPR Certificate
- Valid Driver’s Licence and reliable vehicle
- Current Police Check
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and within a team
- Experience in disability support and/or SIL operations is highly regarded
Desirable Skills and Experience
- Experience with ShiftCare or similar care management systems.
- Certificate III or IV in Individual Support, Disability, Community Services, or related field.
- Previous experience coordinating SIL services or managing support worker schedules.
