The Opportunity:
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced HR driver to join our team on a permanent basis.
The role is in the lubricants (oil) industry, where you will be required to complete multiple deliveries around the Brisbane metropolitan and regional SE Queensland areas for our key customers.
Product delivery sizes range from IBC’s, 205L, 60L, 20L drums and cartons.
The deliveries may require pumping into the customers tank via an inbuilt pump, or drop off via forklift, trail-gate plus trolley or hand unload.
You will:
Load, transport and unload bulk oil products in a safe and professional manner
Utilise your knowledge of Brisbane metro & regional South East Queensland road network
Safely pump lubricants into customers tanks with precision and care
Maintain a strong customer focus
Professionally represent K&S and our valued clients
Ensure the fleet is properly maintained
What you’ll bring:
Minimum 12 months heavy rigid driving experience and valid HR Victorian driver’s license.
Prior experience in bulk liquid tankers would be advantageous.
You will have:
An excellent ability to build rapport with internal and external stakeholders and clients
Minimum 12 months Heavy Rigid driving experience and a good driving record
Strong English communication skills; written, reading and verbal
A strong work ethic with a willingness to get the task completed to a high standard
Knowledge of compliance and legislative requirements including Chain of responsibility and NHVR
Excellent communication and negotiation skills
