Experienced Orbital Welder – Stainless Steel & High Purity Systems

At Triplenine Group, we specialise in high-quality stainless steel fabrication, hygienic process piping, and engineered solutions for the pharmaceutical, food & beverage, and advanced manufacturing industries. We are seeking an experienced Orbital Welder to join our workshop team full-time.

About the Role
You will be responsible for orbital welding and fabrication of stainless steel piping systems to a high standard, working on projects requiring strict QA/QC compliance and precision workmanship.
The role is primarily workshop-based, with occasional site work as required.
Key Responsibilities
- Orbital welding of stainless steel tube and pipe systems
- Operation of AMI wire feed orbital welding equipment
- Reading and interpreting fabrication drawings, weld maps, and WPS documentation
- Maintaining high standards of weld quality and finish
- Completing QA/QC documentation and traceability requirements
- Working within hygienic and high-purity fabrication standards
- Supporting workshop productivity and continuous improvement initiatives
- Maintaining strong safety and housekeeping standards
Skills & Experience
We are specifically seeking candidates with proven experience in orbital welding, ideally within pharmaceutical, food & beverage, dairy, or high-purity process industries.
Essential:
- Strong hands-on experience in orbital welding processes
- Experience working with stainless steel piping systems
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and welding procedures
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Excellent understanding of workshop safety practices
- Reliable, professional, and team-oriented attitude
Highly Regarded:
- Experience using AMI wire feed orbital welding systems
- Experience with hygienic or high-purity stainless systems
- Exposure to GMP or controlled manufacturing environments
- TIG welding and fabrication experience
- Experience working to strict QA/QC and documentation standards
