GDP Group is seeking a motivated Construction Labourer / Trades Assistant to join our growing Brisbane team.
This is not your typical labouring role.
You will receive on-the-job training and work alongside experienced technicians installing and inspecting height safety systems on some of Queensland's most prominent commercial, government and industrial buildings.

About the Role
Working alongside experienced technicians, your duties will include:
- Installing roof safety systems including anchor points, static lines and walkways
- Assisting with inspections and certification of safety systems
- General construction and installation works
- Working safely at heights
- Completing site documentation and reports
- Assisting with repairs and maintenance works
- Travelling to various sites throughout South East Queensland
No previous height safety experience is required.
Full training will be provided to the right candidate.

Essential Requirements
- Current Driver's Licence
- Construction Industry White Card
- Ability to work safely at heights
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to pass a Police Check and Working with Children Check
Highly Regarded
- Working at Heights certification
- EWP Licence
- Trade qualification or apprenticeship experience
- Construction industry experience
