CHEF - FULL-TIME CHEF
FORBES COUNTRY BAKEHOUSE
Position:- Full Time
Salary Range:- $70K - $80K
FORBES COUNTRY BAKEHOUSE is seeking a experienced chef to join our team. To be
considered for the position, you must have extensive experience working in a busy
restaurant kitchen.
Responsibilities:
- Planning menus and estimating food and labour costs
- Monitoring quality of dishes at all stages of preparation and presentation
- Preparing and cooking food
- Discussing food preparation issues with Managers and Kitchen staff
- Demonstrating techniques
- Enforcing hygiene regulations
- May select and train staff
- May freeze and preserve foods
Experience and Requirements:
- 2+ years experience
- Experience in training, developing and mentoring kitchen teams
- Strong communication skills
- Willingness to lead and demonstrate passion cooking
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $70,000.00 – $80,000.00 per year
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Forbes NSW 2871: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
Experience:
- Kitchen: 2 years (Preferred)
