Factory Labourer
We are a small business with a robust factory currently seeking applicants who have proven experience in manufacturing, labouring, Trades Assistant or assembly/production work.
Applicants who have prior exposure in a Timber / Joinery / Carpentry environment working with associated electric hand tools, who can work reliably as part of a production team are highly encouraged to apply.
Your duties will Include:
- Building and assembling timber components (Cutting, gluing, laminating and clamping)
- Confident use of hand-held power tools
- Loading and unloading trucks via Forklift
- General factory duties as required
Attributes highly regarded:
- Prior experience in Timber / Joinery / Carpentry environment
- Valid Forklift licence preferential
- Basic computer literacy to enable use of production system
- Your own reliable transport
- Capable of lifting 25kg comfortably
Must be available:
- Immediate start
- Monday – Friday
- 7am - 3.30pm Monday - Thursday
- 7am - 2.15pm Friday
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $30.00 – $33.00 per hour
Experience:
- joinery shop: 1 year (Preferred)
