About the role
We are seeking a Group HSEQ Specialist to lead and support the ongoing development of our Health, Safety, Environment, Quality (HSEQ) and ESG frameworks across the Group. This is a key leadership role responsible for driving consistency, compliance and continuous improvement across multiple business units, while strengthening our safety culture and operational excellence. You will partner closely with HSEQ Managers and operational leaders to provide expert guidance, improve systems, and deliver strategic HSEQ and sustainability initiatives.
This role will be based at our Group Head Office in Welshpool.
What you'll do

Lead and support delivery of the Group HSEQ and ESG strategy
- Maintain and improve HSEQ management systems (ISO 45001, 9001, 14001)
- Coordinate internal audits, assurance and compliance activities
- Drive risk management frameworks and critical risk controls
- Support incident investigations, reporting and trend analysis
- Lead ESG initiatives including sustainability and emissions reporting
- Manage HSEQ systems, reporting tools and performance dashboards
- Support contractor, supplier and acquisition due diligence
- Drive HSEQ culture, capability development and engagement programs
- Lead continuous improvement and standardisation across the Group
- Develop and deliver HSEQ leadership training
- Deliver Digital HSEQ messaging campaigns
About you
You are an experienced HSEQ professional with strong governance, systems and operational experience across multi-site or group environments. You bring a practical, influential approach and are confident working with senior leaders and operational teams to drive improvement and accountability. Degree qualified , you will ideally have experience across ISO systems, risk management, and a track record of elevating the HSEQ agenda.
Selection Criteria

Tertiary qualification in Health & Safety, Environmental Management, or related discipline (highly regarded)
- Proven experience in a similar HSEQ role within a multi-site or group environment (highly regarded)
- Strong working knowledge of ISO45001, ISO9001, and ISO14001 management systems.
- Demonstrated experience in risk management, incident investigation, and compliance frameworks
- Ability to influence, coach, and engage stakeholders at all levels, including senior leadership.
- Experience driving continuous improvement initiatives and organisational change
- Knowledge and practical experience with ESG and sustainability reporting frameworks
- Strong analytical and reporting skills, with experience using HSEQ systems and dashboards
- Well-developed communication and training facilitation skill.
- Unrestricted permanent Australian Working Rights
- National Police Clearance (within 6 months of date)
- Valid Australian Driver's Licence
