About the Role
Working in collaboration with a dynamic multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for the coordination and management of Endoscopy clinical trials. Current studies focus on outcomes of novel interventional endoscopy procedures, the natural history and outcomes of Barrett’s oesophagus and oesophageal atresia, as well as novel application of artificial intelligence to endoscopic assessment.
Your duties will include:
database management and data capture (endoscopic / clinical)
patient liaison, education and coordination
assisting with the ongoing Clinical Trials and departmental research in the Gastroenterology department with a focus on Endoscopy studies
Classifications for this position will be YX13 ($128,102.00 per annum, pro rata)
Your Contribution
Undergraduate degree in general nursing, which meets the registration requirements of the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia or Undergraduate degree in Bachelor of Science
Current TranCelerate mutually recognised Good Clinical Practice (GCP) Certificate
Experience working as a Clinical Trial Coordinator or demonstrated ability to independently manage research projects
Current National criminal history check, or willing to obtain, or willing to obtain

About the Gastroenterology Department
The Gastroenterology Department provides a comprehensive range of consultative and diagnostic procedures in Gastroenterology with particular interest in chronic viral hepatitis, inflammatory bowel disease, therapeutic endoscopy and oesophageal disorders.
