About the Role:
We are looking for a Sewing Technician to join our production team, specialising in operating overlock sewing machines for high-quality sheepskin products. No prior experience is required, as full training will be provided. This is a great opportunity for individuals interested in learning specialised sewing skills and working with premium materials in a supportive manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate overlock (overlocker) sewing machines to stitch and finish sheepskin products, including footwear, garments, and accessories.
- Work with thick and soft materials such as sheepskin and leather, ensuring accurate and consistent stitching.
- Follow production instructions, patterns, and quality standards.
- Conduct basic machine cleaning and maintenance.
- Check finished products for stitching quality and workmanship.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organised work area.
Requirements:
- No previous experience required — full training will be provided.
- Comfortable working with thicker materials such as sheepskin and leather.
- Good hand-eye coordination and attention to detail.
- Willingness to learn and follow instructions.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work in a fast-paced production environment.
- Previous experience operating industrial sewing or overlock machines is a bonus, but not essential.
