Full Time Opportunity. Salary $62,000 to $67,000 plus Superannuation (salary based on experience)
About The Opportunity
As the Administration Support Officer - General you will provide essential administrative support across prisoner property, reception and discharge, telephone enquiries, court documentation and record management, helping ensure services are delivered accurately, professionally and in line with operational requirements.
Your Key Impact Areas
- Complete Audits and checks in accordance with Corrections Victoria policy and procedure.
- Maintain data record integrity in relation to Prisoner electronic recording systems.
- Prepare and submit reports as required by GEO and Corrections Victoria policy and procedures.
- Ensure compliance with all Company Policies and Procedures and the Governance, Risk and Compliance Manual.
- Complete cyclic stock takes of all stored prisoner property to ensure accuracy with prisoner property records.
- Ensure all prisoner property recording, storage and issue is conducted according to Corrections Victoria and GEO operating procedures.
- Archive all prisoner private property documentation as required.
- Assist intake/release staff with prisoner private property.
- Respond to incoming calls promptly, courteously, and in accordance with communication protocols.
- Deliver clear and correct advice to members of the public, legal representatives, and external agencies within approved guidelines.
- Manage sensitive enquiries with professionalism, empathy, and adherence to privacy requirements.
- Redirect calls appropriately, Identify the correct internal contact or department and transfer calls when required.
- Process court documentation accurately, receive, review, and record all court‑issued documents, ensuring compliance with legislative and organisational requirements
- Enter and verify court results, update internal systems with court outcomes, ensuring all data is correct, timely, and aligned with official court records.
- Prepare discharge and bail paperwork, draft, check, and finalise all release‑related documents, ensuring accuracy and adherence to statutory processes.
- Maintain accurate records, keep detailed, secure, and auditable records of all court‑related actions, decisions, and communications.

About You
Essential:
- Experience in a computerised work environment/multi-discipline, team structure.
- Ability to set priorities and meet deadlines.
- Effective oral and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to perform work at a high degree of accuracy and confidentiality.
Desirable:
- Relevant qualification (e.g. Certificate III/IV in Business Administration) or willingness to undertake further training.
- Exposure to a regulated, secure, or customer-facing environment
