We are a local manufacturing business looking for a reliable and motivated Warehouse Team Member to join our team on a casual basis.
This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced warehouse environment, takes pride in their work and has a strong focus on safety, accuracy and getting the job done.
Key Responsibilities
- Picking and packing stock accurately to fulfil customer orders
- Loading and unloading trucks for despatch
- Unloading incoming container stock
- Receiving, checking and putting away stock into managed warehouse locations
- Operating a forklift safely and efficiently
- Maintaining an organised and tidy warehouse
- Assisting with general warehouse duties as required
- Ensuring stock is handled, stored and dispatched accurately and safely
- Working as part of a team to meet daily warehouse and despatch requirements
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- A current LF Forklift Licence and practical forklift experience (preferred)
- Previous warehouse, logistics or manufacturing experience (not essential but preferred)
- The physical fitness required to perform regular manual lifting and handling tasks
- The ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Good time management and organisational skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- A reliable, responsible and positive attitude
- The ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- A strong commitment to workplace health and safety
