What you will do
As asset manager, you will lead the department's technology asset program from planning through to replacement.
You will improve systems, support smarter decisions and help staff access reliable technology.
You will:
-
lead technology asset management across the department
-
improve systems and processes that support workplace technology
-
manage technology asset records, maintenance, tracking and fleet replacement
-
provide accurate asset data and reports within agreed timeframes
-
identify future technology needs, reduce risks and support sound investment decisions.
About you
A relevant tertiary or postgraduate qualification, or equivalent experience, is highly desirable. Qualifications or certifications in areas such as ITIL, project management, Agile, cloud, software, platforms, service management or change management are also highly desirable.
You should also have:
-
strong knowledge of technology asset management
-
practical experience with desktop, mobile and audio-visual technology
-
excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to improve information management
-
proven ability to build working relationships, plan ahead and deliver projects.
