About the role
As the Nurse Educator - Emergency Department, you will play a pivotal role in developing and strengthening the capability of our nursing workforce at Redcliffe Hospital. Working within the Nursing and Midwifery Education team, you will lead the design, delivery and evaluation of education programs that support clinical excellence, workforce development and high-quality patient care. This advanced practice role combines expert clinical knowledge with contemporary education principles to ensure nurses are equipped with the skills, confidence and competence required to provide safe, evidence-based emergency care.
About you

Practice in accordance with code of ethics, professional standards and legislation affecting nursing practice by maintaining current knowledge and competence within scope of position.
Provide leadership within a legal, professional and ethical framework that ensures contemporary consumer/person centred care and staff management practices.
Integrate the principles of contemporary education into nursing practice.
Integrate nursing and healthcare knowledge, skills and ability by supporting an evidence-based learning environment and participating in learning activities/opportunities for self and others.
Facilitate the delivery of cost-effective quality consumer/person focused care through the development, implementation and maintenance of education and professional development programs and activities for nursing staff.
