Casual cook required for busy bayside cafe in Beaumaris.
We’re on the lookout for a passionate casual cook to join our friendly café team! If you love fast-paced environments, take pride in plating up beautiful food, and enjoy working with a close-knit crew — we’d love to hear from you.
What you’ll be doing:
- Preparing and cooking a range of breakfast and lunch dishes
- Following café recipes and maintaining consistent food presentation
- Assisting with prep work, stock rotation, and daily kitchen cleaning
- Working closely with the head chef and front-of-house team to ensure smooth service
- Maintaining high food safety and hygiene standards
What we’re looking for:
- Previous kitchen or café cooking experience
- A strong work ethic and ability to work under pressure during busy periods
- Good communication skills and a team player attitude
- Basic knowledge of food safety and kitchen hygiene (Food Safety Certificate is a plus)
- Reliability and flexibility to cover shifts when needed
