We have an exciting opportunity for a Project Manager to lead and coordinate diverse technology projects. You will ensure project delivery is on time, within scope, and aligned with client expectations and business objectives. This role requires strong stakeholder management, organisational skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Work closely with project teams to deliver projects on time and within budget.
- Coordinate project management activities, resources, equipment, and information.
- Break projects into achievable actions and set timeframes.
- Liaise with clients to identify and define requirements, scope, and objectives.
- Create project schedules and assign tasks to internal and external resources.
- Assist with budget preparation and cost forecasting.
- Manage risks and opportunities throughout the project lifecycle.
- Monitor project progress and resolve issues promptly.
- Act as the primary point of contact and communicate project status to stakeholders.
- Collaborate with other Project Managers to eliminate blockers.
- Issue all appropriate documentation (contracts, sign-off forms, terms of agreement).
- Maintain comprehensive project documentation, plans, and reports.
- Conduct quality assurance tests to ensure standards and requirements are met.
- Provide input to presales processes and customer engagement activities.
- Identify training needs and support team development.
- Listen to team feedback and resolve conflicts effectively.
Experience, Knowledge and Qualifications
Essential:
- Previous experience in IT Project Coordination, Project Support, or Project Management.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written).
- Ability to build rapport and maintain strong client relationships.
- Analytical thinking and attention to detail.
- Ability to work confidently with new applications, business, and IT processes.
- Understanding of cost forecasting and projections.
- Experience preparing reports and project proposals.
- Self-motivated with a proactive approach to issue resolution.
- Strong business acumen, stakeholder management, and change management skills.
Desirable:
- Experience with project management tools (e.g., MS Project, JIRA, Trello, MS Planner).
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role.
- Relevant tertiary qualification or equivalent.
