We're looking for an Assistant Brand Manager to join our Marketing team and help drive growth across some of Australia's most recognised dairy brands – Devondale, Liddells and Great Ocean Road.
In this role, you'll combine brand thinking with commercial decision-making, using consumer, category and market insights to identify opportunities, support innovation, and deliver activities that strengthen both brand performance and business outcomes. Working across multiple dairy categories, you'll partner closely with Sales, Finance, Category, Commercialisation and agency partners to bring growth initiatives to life.
Key responsibilities include:
- Supporting the development and execution of annual brand and growth plans
- Analysing brand, category and market performance to identify opportunities and inform recommendations
- Contributing to key strategic initiatives, business cases and innovation projects
- Building strong cross-functional relationships to deliver commercial and brand objectives
- Leading the development and launch of innovation and product initiatives
- Delivering shopper marketing and customer activation programs across key retail partners
- Managing budgets, forecasting and reporting to maximise return on investment
- Supporting the delivery of integrated marketing campaigns and measuring performance outcomes
You're equally comfortable discussing consumer insights, category performance and commercial outcomes. You enjoy turning data into action, working with stakeholders across the business, and balancing strategic thinking with hands-on execution.
You will bring:
- Previous FMCG marketing experience within a branded consumer goods environment
- A strong understanding of the Australian grocery retail landscape and customer channels
- Demonstrated experience supporting innovation, brand growth and shopper marketing initiatives
- Strong commercial acumen with the ability to analyse data, identify opportunities and make recommendations
- Confidence working with budgets, forecasting and performance reporting
- Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to influence across functions
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
