The Role
We are seeking an experienced Director of Contract Administration to lead our Australian operations. This executive-level position is critical to our business expansion and is heavily focused on the administration, negotiation, and governance of our commercial partnerships. The successful candidate will strategically oversee and approve contracts to ensure they align with organizational goals, while managing risks, compliance, and stakeholder accountability.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the end-to-end commercial lifecycle, driving the drafting, review, and high-level negotiation of long-term General Sales Agent (GSA) agreements and complex commercial freight contracts.
- Supervise the contractual execution of all charter flights, confirming that all cargo deliverables meet strict compliance requirements, scope variations, and regulatory approvals.
- Administer ongoing corporate partnerships by systematically evaluating project variations and maintaining a strong, compliant working relationship with our partner GSAs.
- Manage high-level banking relationships and secure all critical financial documentation as required to support international credit facilities and contract viability.
- Enforce strict compliance with all negotiated terms, maintaining comprehensive oversight of contract documentation, financial exposure, and rigorous reporting standards.
- Act as the primary escalation point to resolve complex contractual disputes and service-related discrepancies, liaising closely with internal teams and international partners.
- Direct broad organizational strategies to expand operations into the Middle East through the negotiation and administration of long-term commercial relationships.
- Introduce and develop strategic contractual relationships throughout Scandinavia with existing clients, fully integrating with our parent company's European objectives.
- Expand the operational scope of the business by leading the contract strategy and acquisition processes for wide-body freight aircrafts.
- Analyze complex project performance data and financial modeling to identify operational trends, advising the executive board on commercial risk and resource allocation.
About You
To succeed in this role, you must possess a blend of contract administration expertise, specialized aviation knowledge and corporate banking experience.
Experience:
· Diploma, degree, or higher qualification in business, law, or finance.
- A minimum of 15 years of international experience across contract administration, corporate banking, working capital management and financial analysis.
- Must have direct experience with executive or C-level staff and the Board of Directors within the global freight logistics sector, demonstrating an ability to drive business growth and operational efficiency.
- Demonstrated history of managing large-scale credit portfolios and financial institution contracts within top-tier international banking environments (e.g., Nordic banking sector).
- Full professional proficiency in English is required. Native or bilingual proficiency in Norwegian is strictly mandatory due to our corporate structure and daily integration with our parent company. Working knowledge of German or Spanish is a strong advantage for our expanding European operations.
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in conducting detailed financial and credit analysis, cash management sales, and credit structuring to support high-stakes contract decision-making and risk assessment.
